One bad breath remedy is homemade toothpaste with the combination of baking soda, water, and salt. Salt is said to cause electrolyte imbalance to cats so be sure to only put small amount to your homemade toothpaste so as not to cause harm to your pet. Also inhibit feeding your cat with salty food.

Treats like sweets, especially chocolates, are enticing to cats. However, it is scientifically proven that these treats are toxic to cats. Ironically, what makes them happy can cause them harm. Most cats are said to be lactose intolerant so do not feed them with milk and other dairy products to keep them away from diarrhea and vomiting. Chocolates which cats may find tasty can raise their blood pressure causing fast heartbeat and hyperactivity to the cat.
Macadamia nuts can be a worthwhile chew to your cat when he is not doing something or just relaxing but never do this. Macadamia nuts can cause muscle pains and weakness to cats.
