Dried fruit: Who can say no to dried mangoes or banana chips? Say no once in a while because it is proven to cause tooth decay. Dried fruits are processed and are enhanced with sugar to taste better. This sugar is the cause of tooth decay. Sugar clings to the teeth causing acid build up and thinning of the tooth enamel. It is better that you eat fresh fruit compared with the dried ones.

Soda: Soda is not only good for children and adult because of its cocaine content which can cause hyperactivity and difficulty in sleeping. The chemical overload of soda is also bad for children as well as adult’s health. Speaking of oral health, it is the high sugar level and the carbon of the drink which cause decay because it attacks the tooth enamel and makes it vulnerable to bacteria attack. When bacteria are in the enamel, decaying may occur.

The question is, can you exchange happiness from tooth decay free teeth? Yes, of course. How can you even be happy or even smile when your teeth are rotten? Make sure that you do not eat too much chocolate to the point that it has taken away the sweetness of your smile.

Candies: You will not be simply allured by their sweetness but also by their bewitching colors. When you are eating a variety of candies, it is also like eating a rainbow because of the colors of the candies. However, being bewitched can be a bad thing most of the time and it is when it comes to candies because their sugar content is enormous and can surely tooth decay. So to all the people, especially children who like candies, just eat in small amounts.

Hydrogenated oils: If carbonated drinks are bad for your teeth, so as hydrogenated oils like vegetable oil, soybean oil, Crisco, canola oil, and sunflower oil. You can also get these kinds of oils when you eat out in fast food or any restaurant that offers greasy food. Steaks and meat fed not with fresh grass but with processed chemicals are also filled with hydrogenated oils.

Tea and coffee: These two beverages are everyone’s hero if you want some natural stimulants. Tea and coffee contains caffeine that will boost one’s energy and brain functions but too much of it can cause stain in the teeth and eventually tooth decay. Blame the tooth decay to the acidic content of tea and coffee.
