- Eating oranges or gargle with lemon juice to rinse your mouth.

- Visit your local health food store to ask for chlorophyll liquid
- Eat yoghurt or buy a mouthwash with probiotics . Probiotics will remove the bad breath causing bacteria in your mouth .
Tongue scrapers
Many people are not aware how important it is to clean the tongue daily to keep a fresh breath. Brushing your teeth twice a day is a must, but brushing your teeth alone is not enough since most of the bacteria in your mouth is found on your cheeks, gums and tongue. A tongue cleaner can be used to remove the white layer from the surface of your tongue.
Chewing gums and strips
Chewing gum helps cleanse your mouth and produce saliva that will wash out your mouth. If you only have problems with an occasional bad breath caused by a dry mouth or certain types of foods, chewing gum may be a great help. However if you have chronic halitosis, chewing gums will not eliminate the bad breath causing bacteria.
Oxygenating mouthwashes, rinses and toothpastes
Bad breath or halitosis is caused by anaerobic bacteria that are producing sulfur in your mouth. Therefore adding an oxygenating compound (Oxyd-8) will help you get rid of your bad breath and keep your breath fresh for the next 12-24 hours.
A toothpaste and mouthwash with OXYD-8 (made from ClO2 or Chlorine Dioxide) elevate the amount of oxygen in your mouth and reduces the amount of sulphur producing bacteria.
In addition to Oxyd-8 compounds, there also exist zinc compounds which keep bad breath bacteria under control.
